Hurford’s stocks a collection of anodised and powder coated trims, MDF wrapped scotia and foam underlay designed to aid in the completion of your flooring system.

Our products can be ordered through any quality flooring retailer or timber & hardware reseller in conjunction with any engineered flooring order.

Underlays

Hurford Flooring underlays are designed to be installed under our engineered hardwood flooring products. Both the HUSHwalk and EVERwalk are closed-cell underlays, which prevents the flattening out, seen in some open-cell foams. Retaining the shape prevents flooring movement and damage to clip lock joints, making for more effective sound control.

HUSHwalk Underlay (Premium)

HUSHWALK is our premium product, denser and quieter under foot
Strong enough for the most demanding commercial installations
2mm IXPE foam with 0.04mm PE film
High density cross-linked foam
Moisture barrier attached – The PE film and IXPE (Irradiation cross linked polyolefin foam) act together as a moisture barrier
HUSHWALK has a slightly thinner film, due to the much higher density of the IXPE foam layer
Helps to eliminate sub-floor imperfections
Suitable for use over both concrete and wood subfloors
Lay flat polymers for easy installation
Double sided tape for joining
Superior thermal stability
Mould and mildew resistant as well as non-allergenic
Environmentally friendly, without CFC or HCFC’s

EVERwalk Underlay (Standard)

EVERWALK is our standard underlay, with a medium density IXPE foam layer
Quality underlay ideal for residential single story dwellings
Easy to handle 2mm thick x 1m wide

OneTrim is a collection of Radiate Pine, Pre-primed White, Kiln Dried, Finger Jointed Mouldings.
